Tony Lamb (original Roomful vocalist, circa 1968)

A benefit concert to promote continued revitalization of downtown Westerly led to a full-fledged reunion of a beloved hometown band, Roomful of Blues. A slew of original members returned to their old stomping grounds, The Knick, scene of some of their most sensational moments.

The current iteration of Roomful of Blues opened the night with a trademark set, but it was a bit later in the evening, when the old, original legendary members took the stage for a rockin' set that nearly blew the roof off the place. The joint was jumping, jitterbugging all around....jump blues at its finest.

What a band, what a history.... look 'em up! Roomful of Blues!
