Can Singing lessons improve your voice?
When applied correctly, singing lessons will definitely improve your voice and health.

Can singing lessons help bad singers become better?
A bad singer is just an untrained singer. Through consistency in training, anyone can teach their voice, body, and mind how to use the instrument to create the ease of breath and resonate in pitch.

Can singing be learned at any age?
Yes! Singing and training can be implemented from childhood to adulthood. The earlier you begin to train, the better chance of preventing injury occurs.

Can singing every day improve your voice?
Singing with proper technique can definitely improve your voice. If you don’t have the right technique, it could have damaging results.

Vocal nodules are hard, rough growths on your vocal cords. You get nodules from straining or overusing your voice, especially from singing, yelling, or talking loudly. Vocal trauma or overuse is associated with vocal cord lesions. Vocal cord nodules, sometimes called singer’s nodules or nodes, result from repetitive overuse or misuse of the voice.

What are the symptoms of vocal cord lesions?
Lesions can result in hoarseness, breathiness, multiple tones, loss of vocal range, vocal fatigue or loss of voice.

Can singing cause thyroid nodules?
Singing does not cause thyroid nodules. If there is a pre-existing medical condition or disease, the act of singing, if done improperly can exacerbate the condition. This is the most common reason singers need training. Singing well, with proper technique, can heal the body and quiet the mind.
The vocal cords are not the only anatomical parts that help us sing, singing is about the body being in coordinated motion and NOT your vocal cords. Singers develop nodules when voice training is incorrect.
Patients with vocal cord nodules or polyps may describe their voices as harsh, raspy, or scratchy. There may be frequent voice breaks, easy vocal fatigue with overuse or there may be a decreased range of vocal sounds. This is exactly the reason why you want your singing experience to be free of these issues, you have to train like an athlete. Singing is a sport like any other.
