Rogue Wave - California - Noise Pop Festival 2014, San Francisco - Video
PUBLISHED:  Mar 04, 2014
DESCRIPTION:
Rogue Wave - California - San Francisco, Live, 3-2-14, front row, Noise Pop '14, The Chapel. The final sold-out show of the 6-day festival was an afternoon event. Zach: Afternoon show! Let's do this! We'll make it feel like midnight." :P

Other Tidbits:

Zach Rogue, who is from the SF Bay Area (Oakland), told the fans that drummer Pat Spurgeon decided for this show to switch to the synthesizer so he could try out some new equipment he recently acquired. Zach introduced Brian and their new guitarist later in the show.

Many fans kept calling requests for 'California', not knowing that it was already included on the setlist. Zach: "Well you're in luck..." Zach also joked that the last time 'Endless Shovel' was played was on the John McEnroe Show. "I think he killed the song." lol

Earlier in the festival, Zach also opened up for Bob Mould's (Hüsker Dü) show at the GAMH, which was also sold-out.

All the bands commented on how unusual it was to do a show when it was still light outside. The back of the Chapel has a rather large opening to the sunny outer bar.
