I've been intently studying the guitar style of the legendary Jeff Beck lately -- and I've been documenting the musical ideas I've developed based on his awesome style. This is one of the several. It features: the chromatic, harmonized in 6ths move he often does, bluesy licks with kill bends, micro-tone bending, flashy open string licks, harmonic blasts -- and of course -- wild whammy bar manipulations. All in the key of A. Observe: "Rockology" is a music school in Greencastle, Indiana in which I teach -- hence, the title of my video. ;)
