Boston-bred rapper Cousin Stizz first surfaced in 2015 with the release of his debut album Suffolk County. This year, he signed a deal with RCA and dropped his third album 'One Night Only' in July featuring the breakout single “Headlock.” The track is produced by Vinylz and features Migos rapper Offset. Since its release on April 13, “Headlock” has been streamed more than four million times on Spotify alone. As Cousin Stizz explains to Genius, the track was inspired by a bottle of the iconic cognac brand Hennessy, his drink of choice.
