A great bit of Philly soul -- an obscure indie production by Bobby Eli, but every bit as great as the big label work coming out of Sigma Sound! "I'm Ready To Give Up My Love" is an upbeat, soaring tune in the best Philly 70s tradition -- moving on a full groove that supports the warmer chorus vocals of the track with a good mix of strings and clubby rhythms.
