DESCRIPTION:
In Robins own words - What do I do? I play guitar. A LOT. Acoustic, electric, six string, twelve string, hell, any string...as well as mandolin and the odd wee bit of bass. Also sing a bit, arrange and compose. Well-travelled, always playing with one band or another, in one corner of the world or another. Quite often that corner is Ireland, as that's where I bide. I'm also now doing my own solo stuff, already warming up nicely...
In addition - I've been termed a "musical prostitute" - not by myself - due to my playing in a few juicy little combos, and others, and doing a fair bit of session work as well, in Ireland and elsewhere. If you want a piece of the pie, as a john or a pimp, get in touch...
And then there's the recently enacted 'solo career'. In a rampant display of egotism, I've also embarked on a quest to bring my blend of bastardised folk song and pieces of original (..pirate..) material to the world at large, under my own name and by myself or with the assistance of whosoever I can cajole or bribe. It's happening now and it's hot...Watch out...xx
