With a soaring tenor voice, charismatic stage presence, and passionate songwriting style, singer/songwriter Robin Horlock is a staple on the Detroit music scene.
Influenced by life, love and pure emotion, Horlock's songwriting is honest and relatable. Filled with hooks that have you singing along after the first listen. The music crosses genres and transcends generations. It is music for everyone. Robin has received nationwide airplay on college radio and his music has been licensed by MTV and used in several independent films. In 2010 Robin's song "Bella" was nominated for best acoustic song at the Detroit Music Awards. He has shared the stage with Aaron Lewis of Staind, The Verve Pipe, Air Supply, Ty Stone, Willy Mason, Sponge, Red Wanting Blue, Shovels & Rope and many more.
Robin Horlock has been a full-time independent musician since 2003. He has released two full length albums and one five song EP. Performing solo acoustic, as a duo with lead guitarist Kenny Sams or with his full band, Horlock has entertained audiences in over 1200 shows across the country. He has been compared to John Mayer, Jack Johnson, Jason Mraz and Matt Nathanson.
