DESCRIPTION: Right, I'm back (after a three year absence!). I'll do my best to post a few more over the coming months. Here's an old Billy Joel cover for starters. Those in the UK might recognise it from the soundtrack of last year's John Lewis advert which was covered by Fyfe Dangerfield. This is a piano and vocal rendition recorded with a stereo pair of SE Electronic condenser mics on the piano and a Neuman KMS105 capturing the vocals. Unfortunately, my voice wasn't on its best form (mixture of alcohol and man flu) and by the 20th+ take it was starting to strain a bit so apologies in advance!!
