One of the best definitions ever of "deep house" is "electronic classical music": deep house records have a timeless style, which makes them above every kind of trend and allows them to sound great even after years, instead of many tools
produced in a hurry to ride a trending mood, have instant success and be forgotten soon afterwards.
Roberto Bardini has been chewing deep house forever, so he knows perfectly every mechanism of the genre and he is able to interpret them perfectly by blending them with his personal style made of atmospheric pads, crunchy drums and small vocal snippets which make the final mixture even more hot and sexy: in his "Raw pieces part 2" he continues with what he started in the first part, with two tracks painting two different moods.
In "Killing deeply" he speaks about being relaxed, as if we were standing before a sunset at the beginning of a party, while "The choice" is made for the moment when the party has reached his peak, and tastes like sweating and happiness.
To complete the EP, Rio Padice remixes "Killing deeply" making its dark side come to life with obsessive synths and a slow and syncopated cadence which will extract the sexy and gloomy side from every one of us.
