Robert Gorl - Playtime - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 25, 2015
DESCRIPTION:
Robert Gorl's first solo output post DAF was on Mute records with extensive involvement from Annie Lennox (between you and me I think they were having it off as they say)!

Largely ignored, its post apocalyptic nervy yelpy teutonicness probably didn't play well on a continent already sailing towards a meatier sound with its promise of infinite margins stateside. Still I was very much into everything Mute and would have purchased their annual report if they committed it to vinyl.

Largely ignored allowed for a certain amount of risk at the checkout, so I bought this album pretty much when it was released. I was a mad Eurythmics fan, so the Annie connection helped seal the deal somewhat. My love affair with DAF would come a little later.

Still if you needed a slightly Terminatoresque chase scene in your high school video project, then you could use this as a sountrack. As it stands, its pretty much a library artefact, and marginally worth dusting off every now and then for a quick spin. Still I hope you enjoy.
