DESCRIPTION:
One of the two incredible tracks off of the mighty DAMIEN's extremely rare 1990 demo tape. This was the first of two releases from the criminally underrated (and sadly, commonly-unheard) era of the band after Randy "Wolf" Mikelson left to start his own band WOLF GANG and Damien recruited the incredible TROY MOORE as the bands new lead vocalist! The other song on the demo, the blazing double-bass driven "Live To Ride", would be re-recorded (that time with Rob Brug on drums) for their 1992 "Damien" cassette. This song, however, was never recorded again, until now remaining mostly unheard by the world. It also serves to remind us again that no matter what the tempo Damien never fails to write profoundly moving and excellent material!! Damien recorded this demo in Troy's own Moore Sound Studios, where other Ohio Metal bands such as MARQUIS DE SADE, KASTROPHY had previously recorded. The photo of the band was taken from a flyer for METAL BASH '92, which took place at the Erie County Fairgrounds in Sandusky, Ohio on May 23rd 1992. Headlining bands were DAMIEN and (the live debut of) MARQUIS DE SADE, and opening were NITEFALL, SEDUCTIVE BLASPHEMY, STEALTH, KASTROPHY, BAG OF CATS and BONELESS CHICKEN.
