Ricky Ruiz & Jesse Chirino:

For Jesse Chirino rhythms and grooves were her first taste of live music. They came from her own garage where her father, internationally renowned salsa singer/band leader Willy Chirino, often rehearsed. It was in fact her dad who first taught her and her 4 sisters how to sing and harmonize while in the car on family road trips, and it was only a matter of time before music became the focus of her life.
She began her career singing background vocals with her father at the age of 17, and continued on to work with recording artists such as: Gloria Estefan, Paulina Rubio, Carlos Ponce, Soraya, Huey Dunbar, Juan Luis Guerra y 440 and Chayanne among others. In 2011 she went on to perform and tour with Julio Iglesias as a singer and percussionist.
The passion of Ricky Ruiz for music began at a very early age. As a child, he used to organize and participate in "variety shows" for his relatives and friends in Puerto Rico, where he was born and raised.
After doing background vocals for many artists like Alexandre Pires, Jordi, Jennifer Pena and Julio Iglesias he became part of the group Area 305, in which he became the lead singer. With the group, he has gained the heart of thousand of admirers. The magazine
"Teen in Spanish", honored him with the title "El Guapo del Mes",
The Handsome Guy of the month.
Area 305's music its being heard on most of Latin markets of the United States, in addition to Mexico, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Chile, Venezuela and, by all means, Ricky's native island, Puerto Rico. The group reached top positions on the charts of Pop Latin Music, and received several nominations to the Grammys, "Premio Lo Nuestro", and Latin Billboards.
Jesse and Ricky have been good friends for many years and have worked and performed on stage in many occasions. They love to sing together and being singer songwriters they wanted to share their music and wrote "Perdidos", their first collaboration of many. Perdidos is a very powerful song that many of us can identify with and marks the beginning of a great musical Journey. Produced by their good friend and also a singer songwriter himself "Alicastro" the song elevated to a level were it has all the elements of a hit song.
