Rick Mugrage

Rick Mugrage's music will haunt you. If you're a fan of One Republic and Coldplay, you're going to fall in love with this artist. Mugrage has a way of capturing emotions and unspoken thoughts. Fans have said that he has the ability to express through words the feelings they have always wanted to convey.
In his voice you'll hear influences of Jeff Buckley, Ryan Tedder (One Republic) and Chris Martin (Coldplay), but as you listen you'll discover he has a sound all in his own that will become as recognizable as any comparative artist.
Mugrage grew up in The Northwest where he started writing and playing songs when he was 15. In high school he had a couple of bands, one of which he speaks very fondly, "I was the singer in a band called The Yellow Velvet Heads. We never got out and played a lot, but the music was good. There was a really cool dynamic in that group. We were all just kids, but really excited about doing something new".
In the past five years he has released three CD's under his own name. He's currently working on his fourth, which will be released July 26th, 2011.
