PARTY is part acid dream, part nightmare, part awesome. It's about that time of the night just when you think you can finally pass out that you notice a disturbance. In the 'force'. (In the apartment.) Crazy room mates want to keep at it well past your knockout time. They've brought strangers up from the street. From the corner bar. From the 7/11. They're loud the way they get when they try to be quiet. BANG! CRASH! KABOOM! Big laugh. You give up. You have no choice. The clowns have won the night.

This is also a document of the one party we have each year. At Christmas. Lights, balls, tree, booze, music, weed. With a theme. One year included A Very Bloody Christmas (bring a feminine product as a Christmas Tree Ornament. This year was in honor of Sofi Wan Kenobi, my ancient runt kitty. A Kitty Kwistmas. You were obliged to bring a photo of your cat for our Wall Of Cat.
