DESCRIPTION:
Crysty Luv aka Dcs 1st Lady, a young artist and entrepreneur. Who got her start by writing anti-drug raps in middle school. She developed a reputation as a lyricist in S.E., D.C. Throughout her childhood; she played in the DC Youth Orgastra, and appeared in numerous talent shows and festivals. At age 11, she performed at the Apollo Theater in New York City. At age 17, she pursued her career, by moving to New York to study fashion. She interned for Def Jam & Universal Records, and was heavily exposed to the inside of the music industry, by working close with some of todays most influential artist. She made a name for herself by doing collaborations with hip-hop artist such as Jay Z, Memphis Bleek, Snoop Dogg, and Just Blaze to name a few. Currently, Crysty has started an independent artist movement, through her company Lady Capital Entertainment, Inc. She is gives back to the community, by working as a youth mentor, teaching music, fashion, and business to teenagers. Currently, she is planning to independently release her upcoming Projects. Christys love of music started early in life but it was her talent of putting words together in a lyrical flow that would give her the reputation as a top lyricist in her neighborhood of south east Washington, DC. While most girls her age were still playing with dolls Christy was posted up in a studio headphones on and microphone in hand spitting anti drugs lyrics that she had wrote herself. Christy was given the opportunity to appear at the Historic Apollo Theater at age 11 were her performance drew such a huge response that she was asked to return for another appearance. During Christys teen years she displayed many more of her talents of modeling and joined the DC youth Orchestra were she played Stand up Bass playing at many festivals and talent shows, but it was her love for hip hop that she would leave Washington dc and move to New York city to pursue her first love and dream hip hop. Christy interned for record labels Def Jam and Universal were she gained experience of how the music industry works from the inside. While living in New York Christy was privileged to get the opportunity to collaborate and record with some of hip hops heavy hitters such as Jay Z, Snoop Dogg, Memphis Bleek and Just Blaze to name a few. Currently Christy is back in Washingto,DC were she has formed Lady Capital Entertainment her own independent label under which she plans on releasing her long awaited project Cant Knock Her Hustle
