mid 90's and today outfits hardcore, REVERSAL

plays hardcore the way it should be done :

with heart, passion, and sincerity.



Standing strong against today's hardcore

misinterpretation, REVERSAL delivers a sincere

message of revolt towards those who destroyed

what they still hold so dear. "We reclaim

what's ours, our world as it's been taken to us".



Reversal. put out their first demo in the fall

of 2008, recorded at Studio Denise by Jessy Boilard.

The band released their first effort called

"A Return To The Source" on june 6th 2009. This

first album has been recorded by Jérôme Larochelle

at Studio L'Oreille Gauche in march and april 2009.



It's not about the bands you played with,

the number of plays and friends you have on myspace

or the cool people you know in the "scene".

It's not about the quantity of merch you sold at

your last show, and it's certainly not about money,

attitude, fashion and Musique Plus. In fact, hardcore is for us a

way to communicate a message of disaproval towards

today's society values. This subculture that once

stood politicaly and socialy against capitalism's

mass consumption ideals has now seemed to turn into

the problem itself. REVERSAL has born from the ashes

of East Broughton's STAND AS ONE and Thetford's

LIFE CONCERN in only one simple goals : to bring

back the old values and roots of hardcore in a

scene that forgot everything from it's own history.

Also, REVERSAL is nothing more than old friends

playing music together to keep their friendship

fully alive despite everyone is walking on a

separated way from each other as mentioned in the

band's lyrics :

"I still play music with those I love, and Yes, I still

believe in hardcore".
