Zombie
This 24-year-old gentle Polish guy began to compose electronic music as soon as 1997. As a teenager, equipped with two 500 Amiga, a 600 Amiga and a 1200 Amiga, he came up with light drum'n'bass, old school rave and minimal Detroit-type techno. Then he discovered darkstep drum'n'bass. His perception of electronic music changed listening to Alien girl from Ed Rush & Optical; Nitrous from Bad Company or Kemistry and Storm from Dj Kicks (the first record of Penny Black label).
In 1998, living in Szczecin, he was in charge of a broadcast called Cybernoc on a local radio and was used to playing in Club 12 Groszy. Getting the crowd going, getting the crowd screaming. Zombie goes on playing minimal techno and heavy drumnbass in clubs and underground places.
In 2002, the crew Behemoth Breaks is founded by Zombie and NobiOne, soon joined by Pioter and Hatilak.
Rocked by Zombies and Pioters productions, industrial d&b nights multiply, especially at the Neuron, the Neroshocked Crews club.
Many Polish DJs took part to the NoRemorses nights cycle, as well as a French DJ dropping in, Zoar(gH). They also played in 2004 with Hekate, during the pure Underground Festival and Poltek. This year also saw the end of Behemoth Breakz, as Pioter and Hatylak left Poland for England.
In 2005, Zombie carries on his chill-out program on Radio ABC, launched in 2003, until it ends after the radios buying up. But the story doesn't end there, as Zombies horizon isn't limited to chill-out music. Indeed he regularly plays in Szczecin, but also in Katowice with Eye D, during the I Destroy night at the InQbator, and also in Lodz. Zombie is now a member of the AbsurdSquad based in Krakow.
Likka + Mör Brekunit
Likka + Mör Brekunit is the armed branch of an italo-disco band, the unfamous Italian Dance Connection. These two exchanged their shiny spangled helmets for distortion pedals. From now on they play industrial, breakcore, hardcore, very tasty spiced dishes and all kinds of music (or non-music) in "core".
Likka followed courses of cat-like cries and passes from now on her flute in the "trashdecimator" effect of her laptop. Mör takes advantage of his former experience as an ironmonger to create metallic rhythmic and tubular soundscapes.
During their live, hidden behind a luminous apple, they play an evolutionary music straight out a transylvanian concrete-mixer. They hit eachother, howl in their microphones and tweak hard. They create orgasmic, dreamy and creepy environments. They blood-signed a pact with RIP for our greatest masochist joy.
GVK
Founder of the hardcore/breakcore toulousan label "Martel en Tête", GVK has played on parties all over europe (London, Brussels, Praha, Barcelona, Rotterdam, Paris, Roma.) his kickin ass 4/4 breakcore melted with gabber,electronica,punk and industrial sounds. GVK worked with labels like Martel en Tete, Missing Link, Kor a Kor, Power vs Power, Homicide, les Trolls, Hex, Deadlock, Hypogé, Mindustry, Kurva, Panic sauce, Rest in Pieces, Vdz break, Karismatik.
Pioter
Pioter began his adventure with electronic music about 1998. Amazed with techno he started making first attempts to create using his computer. After a few years he discovered drum and bass and began experimenting with breaks based music.
Some few years later he met Zombie, Nobi One and MC Black and they launched their common project - Behemoth Breakz. After a year they became the residents of Neuron club occuping thursday and friday nights with various kinds of electronic music parties. They organised many drum and bass, breakcore, experimental and also chill-out gigs in Szczecin inviting various artists from Poland and from outside the country. In 2004 Pioter moved to Manchester where he slowly collects the machines and builds his studio. And come back in Poland in 2008, in Kraków
Paralel to music activities Pioter had always been involved in design. He had built Behemoth Breakz website and designed posters and flyers for all the parties they organized. For a time he also was responsible for administrating the Neuroshocked's website www.neuroshocked.pl and designing their flyers. He is the founder of the Polish breakcore community web portal BREAKCORE.PL. He designed graphics for Rest In Pieces releases: RIP001 and RIP002 joining the RIP staff as the project designer.
FUEL in SEKT
After being one of the "official" PEACE OFF DJ, he became also official DJ for Rest In Pieces party and tour over Europe. frequently playing live+mix with R.I.P. artists like GVK and LICA and with friends like MONIK BORDELIK (Bordelik Armada, KORàKOR), Dj 2fré (Homicide recording), Morgomix (Kurva), SAOULATERRE (cavage), Nurgle2Troll & Spek2Troll (les trolls) and many more.
