World-renowned soprano and Eastman School of Music alumna Renée Fleming (MM ’83 HNR ’11) came to Eastman as Distinguished Visiting Artist to conduct master classes with voice and opera students. She also did a Q&A conducted by Jamal J. Rossi, the Joan and Martin Messinger Dean of the Eastman School of Music in which she answered a variety of questions from the Dean and from students on controlling stage fright, what to look for in an accompanist, handling difficult situations on stage, maintaining a healthy lifestyle while traveling, and other topics.
