Hailing from the suburbs of St. Louis, these experienced and angry 30-somethings have a lot to say and can't get enough of the face-melting heavy music. (Or is it just so they can get away from their hot ass bitches and pound away some stag one night a week?)



Either way, they bring to the table a raw, fresh hardcore sound comprised of many influences ranging from Einstein to Slayer. Their approach to the music scene is to make friends with whoever is friendly; and for those who aren't. TAKE NO PRISONERS! (Or come hang out anyway.whatever.)

With that said, The Rend is a force that is greater than the five members involved. It is an energy that can only be experienced to understand their true rock mission. Dan's precise guitar riffs and Joe's colorful leads hang a canvas for Kyle's meaningful and cacophonous lyrics. Brian and Shane then create a tight, rhythmic foundation throwing back beats and punches from every Direction in the universe, thus creating an interesting show that will leave you asking yourself what planet do these guys come from and can I stow away in the rocket back home.
