Featuring an epic opening cut recalling the layered intensity of Strapping Young Lad’s classic City, Murder Happens’ long-awaited new album Dead World And Dying Suns combines the electrifying cyborg attack of bands like Frontline Assembly and Acumen Nation with the textured post-industrial sludge and bludgeon of vintage Godflesh and Enemy Of The Sun-era Neurosis. With performances and contributions from the likes of En Esch (KMFDM, Pigface), grammy-nominated Mike Scaccia (Ministry, Rigor Mortis), and Broadzilla frontwoman Rachel May—plus production input from Vinnie Salleto (Genitorturers) and Martin Atkins (NIN, Pigface, Killing Joke, PiL, etc.)—the new record is a full-contact aural assault…a sound beating for any deadbeat sound-alike.
