MURDER HAPPENS WANTS YOUR MONEY.

“…easily the greatest Industrial Metal band to emerge from the midwest in nearly a decade, and probably the most consistently mesmerizing genre release in at least that long.”

—Metal-Rules.com

Featuring members of Ministry, KMFDM, Pigface, and Final Cut, Murder Happens easily lays waste to the otherwise wasted layabouts in a convoluted cut-throat scene. “Supergroup” or no, Murder Happens goes for the gold with an iron fist and a case of Steel Reserve, with an epic new release and live show over three years in the making. You might as well just give them your money now.

PREPARE FOR AURAL INTERCOURSE…

Led by current Final Cut drummer and scene veteran Paul Wood, MH has also performed alongside the likes of Meat Beat Manifesto, Daniel Ash (Bauhaus/Love & Rockets), Slick Idiot, DJ? Acucrack and Acumen Nation. MH was invited by Martin Bowes to cover a track of renowned UK goth legends Attrition, for their 25th anniversary tribute disc Wrapped in the Guise of my Friend, (Wax Trax II/Two Gods Records) also featuring Stromkern, En Esch (KMFDM), and many others. The new album has also grabbed the attention of such famed remix artists of DJ? Acucrack and Cyanotic, who have taken on the likes of Front Line Assembly, Pigface, Chemlab, Bile, 16 Volt and KMFDM.

DEADBEATS & BEATDOWNS!

Featuring an epic opening cut recalling the layered intensity of Strapping Young Lad’s classic City, Murder Happens’ long-awaited new album Dead World And Dying Suns combines the electrifying cyborg attack of bands like Frontline Assembly and Acumen Nation with the textured post-industrial sludge and bludgeon of vintage Godflesh and Enemy Of The Sun-era Neurosis. With performances and contributions from the likes of En Esch (KMFDM, Pigface), grammy-nominated Mike Scaccia (Ministry, Rigor Mortis), and Broadzilla frontwoman Rachel May—plus production input from Vinnie Salleto (Genitorturers) and Martin Atkins (NIN, Pigface, Killing Joke, PiL, etc.)—the new record is a full-contact aural assault…a sound beating for any deadbeat sound-alike. Scaccia’s guitar work in MH matches the ferocity of his performance in the platinum selling Ministry, bringing to mind tracks like“Just One Fix,” “Jesus Built My Hotrod,” and “Psalm 69.”

Able to effortlessly sprint from the harsh post-apocalyptic soundscapes of “No Sunrise” to cynical-yet-memorable club (and radio) hits like “I’m On Fire,” Murder Happens offers stunning sonic diversity, oppressive multi-layered atmospheres, and unrivaled brutality, often in the course of a single track. Unlike many Industrial releases, Dead World And Dying Suns revels as much in its terse, organic feel as it does the standard wired clank and rattle, with thick, pounding live percussion and ripping guitar solos that fluidly interplay among the dark electric shrieks that compliment their sound.

FROM FINAL CUT TO FINAL SAY:

Passionate and forceful, yet gloriously morose, Dead World And Dying Suns will hit the Industrial-Metal G-spot like the fist of an angry God for even the most hardened blackened noise rock enthusiast. Keep your ears to the ground and your eyes on their website: The band is currently in the process of writing new material for a limited-edition EP featuring remixes by Acumen Nation, Cyanotic, and more.

The bottom line is this: It’s an orgy of the dead, and you don’t want sloppy seconds; pick up your copy of Dead World And Dying Suns today!
