Marshall Regenerator - Video
PUBLISHED:  Jun 09, 2010
DESCRIPTION:
For a lot of guitarists, modulation effects are something to be sprinkled here and there for a bit of color, rather than a part of the main sound. Sometimes you want a little chorus for an introduction, or perhaps a bit of phaser for use during a solo or a break. So . . . it seems like a waste of money to buy two or three separate pedals for individual sounds that you aren't even using that often.

Enter the Marshall Regenerator. This pedal combines six separate modulation effects within one compact stompbox: vintage chorus, modern chorus, flanger, phaser, step phaser--even a Univibe-like effect for those Jimi Hendrix moments. (I have mine in front of the full-length mirror in the hall.) The choruses, flanger, phaser and "Uni" all have a classic vibe to them, and all seem quite usable. The step phaser adds some radical, synthy sounds for you sonic explorationists.
