"Memory (The Girl Who Cried Wolf)"

Upon the shore, a twisted wreck
Don't look, there's nothing left
I felt the flames inside her
Drown out my emptiness
And as the winds swept by
I felt her soul die
The blood ran past her feet
Her voice, an empty vessel
Screaming for reprieve

I heard her say
I heard her try to speak
Oh can't you see
The best of you just died with me

Across the ocean
There is a place above the clouds
A world I encountered in the space between
My withered doubt
A bitter symphony
Is all that's left of me
Look what you've done
You foolish girl
You killed the wolf that set you free

A mass of death
Among the shadows
You bore the face
Of a queen with a broken crown
But your heart
Reeks of malice
There's blood in the tears
Streaming down your face

SHE SEES RIGHT THROUGH ME
I tried to fly but my wings fell
Straight to the ground

And now I'm drawn away
To the place where I heard her say

Beyond the snowfall
The wolves they take me in their teeth
A blind and foolish pig
Your tortured screams bring me release

And I will watch you burn
Burn beneath the burden of your sins
BURN
OH GOD PLEASE MAKE THIS TORMENT END

This will reprimand my soul
And fill her emptiness

FILL ME UP
SPILL THIS BLOOD

The current swells before me
IT SWELLS BEFORE ME

Across the ocean
There is a place above the clouds
A world I created in my emptiness
Of bitter doubt
A withered memory
Is all that's left of me
Look what you've done
You selfish bitch!
You killed the wolf that
Set you free
