RedRoots

RedRoots are a vibrant, charming and witty group of skankers from Uxbridge. With airplay and play-listing on several radio stations nationwide (including Xfm) and with several big shows and festivals to be confirmed, you're sure to be hearing lots more from the foursome this summer!



Formed in 2008 through a mutual dissatisfaction with their Uxbridge surroundings, they quickly created a buzz in the area through their animated and quirky music. Their energy on stage and unique image caught the attention of clothing brand ‘Supreme Being’, and gained them tour supports with Babyshambles, Graham Coxon, The Futureheads and Estelle. They have also played at Wakestock Festival (through Xfm Unsigned), Glade Festival and the world famous Glastonbury Festival and are set to return in 2010.



Red Roots are: Terry Sphinx, Nicodemus Flower, Mark Hebden and Sam Neild. With a varied perspective on music, the band incorporates elements of electronica, pop, rock and African rhythms all fused with a backbone of Rude Boy ska!
