Do you know where your loved ones are? Can you be certain they’re safe? On second thought, how can you be sure that you’re completely safe and free from danger?

These are just some of the thoughts that will race across your mind upon entering the dark world of the grimmest, most graphic MC to rise from the Northwest and likely the most intriguing horror-core rapper to ever wield the microphone. “RedruM”, the debut album from Red Head Steve, paralyzes the industry in fear of his rapid, take-no-prisoners delivery and the constant reminder that he is free, on the loose and prepared to take his next victim.

A student of the original horror-core rap genre, Red Head Steve brings a style so adrenaline-rich and polished you’d swear he invented the sound. “RedruM” is more than just the freshman release from one of the sickest minds to step into the booth; it is a murderous saga containing eighteen tales of horror that paint a picture so disturbing and real that you’d swear you were a witness to it all.

“At the Door,” Red Head Steve’s first single, is a stand-alone assassination of his adversaries and a worthy introduction to his homicidal tendencies. “Till the Day I Die” on the other hand, featuring Mo-X & Lil’ G, showcases his willingness to share in the bloodshed over a beat guaranteed to inspire high-speed car chases. Backed by a cast of the Northwest’s grittiest MCs including 151, Skuntdunanna, Greedy B.D., Mak One, Clockwork, Lock N Load and featuring production credits from Seattle’s own Mr. D-Sane, Mo-X and Red Head himself; the album is as much a presentation of Seattle’s diverse and talented gangster rap scene as it is a unique and personal look into Steve’s own demented mind.

“RedruM,” released Halloween ’04 by Stay Paid Records, is currently available at stores throughout the Northwest including Tower Records, Silver Platters and Sam Goody. Additional sales locations can be found in West Seattle at Easy Street, in Kent at Bubble Records and Cellophane Square in Seattle’s University District.

Despite a plethora of calls to local law enforcement agencies, Red Head Steve’s murderous ways are far from over. Look for more from him on albums by C-Dubb, Furnace Hill Klick and his feature on Elemental's single “After Dark” with Brotha Lynch Hung. His sophomore album is under final development and will be available upon release as possible evidence in multiple undisclosed criminal investigations.
