the first female artist on Boogie Down production's (DDP) with the likes of KRS One and other's. Her mom later on signed a solo deal to profile records. " I had the chance to see what

the industry was like very early, the God's and the bad's made me who I an today". Although her mom never reached super star status Rece still had a deep passion for music. As

time went on Rece started getting involved with musical activities in school and in her Bronx community." I did anything related to music" Rece was involved in tap and ballet classes,

community talent shows and the chorus Trying to find her nitch. It wasn't until Rece started writing poetry that she realized what she was born to do "HIP HOP".

own music being that she didn't have proper backing. Rece states " I did everything I could do to a buzz but it still wasn't enough".

In the summer of 2007 Rece got an email that would change her life. There was an email sent to her about a VH1 all female reality hip hop show called Miss Rap Supreme.

Rece was asked to come in for a casting call after sending a heart touching story about her struggles being a up and coming MC.

VH1 called Rece in for a casting call and she made the show. The show was a rap competition for $100,000. This was the break she needed to get her name out there.

Rece ended up winning the show and walking home with the tittle of Miss Rap Supreme. Although the show didn't get her a record deal it got her world wide exposure.

The hungry artist still was patinet about her dream. She stated her own company called 80'z Baby Productionz. " My movement represent female Independence"
