If you've ever wondered how to play the guitar with a hammer, this is how it's done. Formerly of the Hampton Grease Band, Glenn is one of Atlanta's most iconoclastic and well-known musicians. JuneFest was a multi-band festival held one Saturday afternoon in midtown (probably Piedmont Park) sponsored by Creative Loafing (where I worked at the time) and one of the commercial rock stations. It seems there were frequent promotional events like that during this time. Between Glenn hammering the stage and the CL ad execs dancing in the background, there's plenty to entertain. If it had been possible to eliminate that balloon, it would have been done.
