“Down with Dis-Ease” videos are about my journey regarding ESRD (End Stage Renal Failure) and how, Glory to God, I was able to turn my life around for the better and thrive in the mist of kidney dis-ease. My name is Rob, I have been an ESRD dialysis-patient since April 2012 (10 years). At that time in my journey I had over 40 liters of extra cellular fluid on my body. My weight was at 340-350lbs and my chosen identity (false-self) was a musician. Because I solely identified as a musician my health was not a priority (only when it came to looking the part) … that attitude and outdated operating system did not serve me well in the long-run and eventually lead to a decline in health and multiple hospitalizations … I had to come off the road and learn how to eat to live. There’s so much to share with you … this is only the beginning. I pray that in these videos I share you find comfort, hope and reason to not stay victim to your circumstance.
