DESCRIPTION:
On December 19, 2010, the Alabama Jazz Hall of Fame Student All-Star Band, directed by Ray Reach, opened for Grammy Award winning vocal group Take 6 at Old Car Heaven in Birmingham, Alabama. The AJHoF Student All-Star Band is a highly select group, ranging in age from 12 to 19 years, chosen by competitive audition from schools all around the Birmingham / Jefferson County / Shelby County area. Here, they perform Grover Washington's "Mr. Magic," arranged and adapted by Ray Reach.

Members of the group include: Matthew Belser (saxophone), Brent McCollough (piano / vocal), Aaron Shapiro (bass), Jonathan Watts (saxophone), Josh Bennett (saxophone), Michael Liptrot (saxophone), Davis Edwards (trombone), Timothy Huffman (drums), Isaiah Fogle (drums) and Alexis Sims (vocals), Victoria Smith (vocals), Jebria (vocals) and Raven (vocals).
