DESCRIPTION:
This is the fourth tune recorded at a session in Copenhagen with my old duo partner, Peter. The setting for this song was a winter-cold Copenhagen with a Christmas tree in the background, so we were dreaming of sun, sand and summer. Tahitian Skies is by Ray Flacke (not Roberta Flack, as sometimes erroneously stated). Here is a link to Ray: http://www.myspace.com/rayflacke. We use (more or less) the arrangement as played on the album Neck to Neck by Chet Atkins and Mark Knopfler. We both play Taylor guitars, and the tuning for both is DADGBE.
