Raquel Lee has a refreshing musical flow that is destined

Raquels lyrical style is a departure from the hardcore,

raunchy, and downtrodden stories evident in the music

of most of her contemporaries. Rather, Raquel, says of

her music, it is more fun loving and speaks to womens

independence.



Raquel was born in Oberlin Louisiana, and raised in Houston, Texas, a city with a rich history of producing some of todays superstar entertainers: Destinys Child, Slim Thug, Brooke Valentine, Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Paul Wall, and Scarface, among others.



Raquel first began performing at the tender age of five in local talent shows and school plays around Houston, always with her eyes on the goal. "I always want to be an entertainer with platinum selling albums and sold out concerts", says Raquel. From the looks of things, she is definitely on her way to achieving that goal.



Raquel has spent the past couple of years in Los Angeles, New York, and Atlanta honing her skills in the studios of some of todays best and brightest music producers and songwriters: among them CHARLIE & KENNY BEREAL OF CKB MUSIC/HITCLUB, SOMETHING FOR THE PEOPLE, and WHITE LEAF to name a few. With current plans to begin showcasing her talent for record executives and other key industry personnel, Raquel continues to provide evidence that she is ready for stardom.
