North London raised MC/Producer, Raptor surrounded by music way before he became professionally involved. As a young toddler his dad was the main vocalist of reggae band "The Cedar Roots". At the time Raptors father doubled the future MC's room as both recording studio for his band and bedroom. Raptor started MCing one day when "Blade" called him and said "I'm making a garage crew". At first it was a hobby and during summer of 2000 he done his first ever set which was recorded at his former DJ's (DJ Spider) house. The set line-up involved the likes of artists know today as Disturbed Blade, Big H, JME and of corse Raptor himself. He done his first radio show on Heat FM 96.6 when Big H set up him and his crew at the time with a radio slot. After spitting from pirate radio to pirate radio Disturbed got there first taste of legal industry broadcasting in 2004 when 1Xtra's very own DJ Richie Vee invited them up to his show.

The comic book t-shirt wearing Artist/producer then went on to sculpt tracks for the likes of North London rapper, Pyrelli's Album "Vitamin A: A Twist Of Fate" ("Introvert Me" & "Do Not Disturb").

In early 2007 Raptor sent a beat CD through a mutual to well known English Rapper, Sway Dasafo. One of Raptors tracks went straight to Sway's musical work-piece " The Dotted Line Mixtape" ("Know Yourself"). By the end of the year Sway offered Raptor a place as an Artist and Producer under his successful label house, "Dcypha Productions". Raptor accepted the offer and together they worked on music for Sway's forthcoming album, "The Signature LP".

Raptor is Currently working on a Promo CD cleverly entitled "Compact Risc: Issue 1" (ha ha see what he did there?.yeah) which features 100% Raptor productions and lyrics (along with the occasional feature of corse). This promo has been separated into three separate pieces or "issues" as he calls them, each issue will share a different musical theme and will be launched on separate dates.

For those who have not heard him or heard of him, his lyrics are futuristic mixed in with a tornado full of diverse flows, fast and slow. His rhymes are witty and his catchy hooks soon have the most skeptical of listeners drawn in. The Audio world of raptor is a very strange one, but it is also very real. I suggest you travel out to it via a spaceship (none of that NASA rocket crap!) or you might never reach their alive!

He may be out of this world, but judging by his music, he's hear to stay.
