DJ Turkish

As a director of Dcypha Productions DJ Turkish makes up one 3rd of the managment team. Working alongside partners Sway Dasafo & Stowne he has helped to take this small independent label to new heights culminating with the release of their first commercial project; Sway's album 'This Is My Demo'. The last 2 years have spaned numerous awards for the label's lead artist including; The M.O.B.O.'s, UMA's & Channel U's 'Best Of British' award, to being shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize in 2006 for Album Of The Year. Most recently winning 'Best International Hip Hop' at the first ever B.E.T. Hip Hop Awards which took place in the ATL (USA). Among this Turkish has traveled the world doing shows alongside Sway & Stowne and has visited countries that include; Brazil (S. America), Ghana (W. Africa), Egypt (N. Africa), Sweedon, Norway, France, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, and vaious other countrys in Europe, including various states of the USA. Having a strong backgroud in promotions and marketing Turkish has played his part in the further development of the UK urban scene and played a major role in helping to break various UK & US artists within the Unighted Kingdom.
