Ramiro Aguirre, the talented singer and percussionist who was born in Paris, France leads a hand-picked group of musicians that have become one of the most promising groups to emerge during the resurgence of the genre of tropical music. His band has become a favorite amongst the Latin community today.

Ramiro started off his professional career at the age of fourteen winning numerous awards and recording over 25 albums in his years in the music industry. Under the direction of his father, Eduardo Aguirre who leads one of the world’s most famous Latin bands “La Charanga Típica Tropical”, Ramiro had the opportunity to surround himself with the essence of Cuban music which dominates one of the islands most influential and danceable rhythms throughout history.

Over the course of his career he’s had the opportunity to work, travel and collaborate with a wide range of artists including Celia Cruz, Nestor Torres, Rey Ruiz, Israel Lopez “Cachao”, La Charanga 76, Hansel y Raul, Charanga Casino, and Roberto Torres to name a few.

Agrupacion de Manzanilleros Inc., is a (Non-Profit) organization in Miami, Florida. Founded in 1965 under the direction of several governing boards to date, this group aims to preserve and maintain Cuban-Manzanillero customs and culture.

The organization hosts fundraisers to collect funds to help Manzanilleros in need of assistance and also to contribute to charitable causes in the community. The main and most important event is the well-known annual "Encuentro Manzanillero" which has been held in the month of August for over 32 years at the Deauville Hotel in Miami Beach Florida. This event, which is attended by many Manzanilleros and friends of all ages, enjoys a celebration of Carnival Manzanillo, pool and beach activities during the 3 days of the event, and performances by local and international musical artists and orchestras. It is interesting to note that this event is attended by Manzanilleros and friends far and wide from different parts of the USA as well as abroad.
