Rallia Christidou is one of the most accomplished new musical talents of contemporary Greek music. Her artistic value as singer/songwriter became apparent five years ago with her participation in the talent show Fame Story where she overwhelmed the audience and critics alike with her talent and the velvet quality of her voice, along with her interpretive maneuverability to uniquely tackle any type of repertoire. She has performed next to Mimis Plessas, Thanos Mikrutsikos, Manolis Lidakis, Giannis Kotsiras, Eleni Tsaligopoulou, Manolis Famellos, Manos Pirovolakis, Melina Aslanidou, Adriana Mpampali and has released 2 studio albums which gained great appreciation: Me to vlema tis kardias' ('With the eyes of the heart', 2005), 'Ena chadi zesto' ('A warm caress', 2007).
The first single of her debut album remained No 1 on the Nielsen radio airplay charts for 8 weeks, surpassing even the biggest names on the Greek musical scene, a fact that, combined with her successful live performances, led to her winning the "Best Newcomer" award twice in 2005.
Rallia was also the greek artist that Shakira chose to be the opening act at her concert in Athens, in July 2007.
During the winter of 2007 she performed a series of solo concerts at the live club 'Stavros tou Notou Apenanti', based on her voice and interpretation. Their total success led to a live album -"Mono mia nichta"("A night only", released in September 2008) that critics loved, while her winter live performances with Melina Aslanidou extended till Easter 2009.
During summer of 2009 Rallia completed the recording of her new songs. The new studio album titled "Etimi" ("Ready") was released in July 2009, during her live tour with Giannis Kotsiras and Mironas Stratis throughout Greece and Cyprus.
