In 1992 George Boussounis and George Ginis formed the band Ammos.
Uptill now they have released four albums
"Gefyra Proti" (First Bridge) (1998)
"Marmaro kai Petra" ( Marble and Stone) (2001)
"Ammos"(Sand)(2006) and lately,just a month ago "Glykia Zoe" (Sweet life") (2009)that includes 4 brand new songs plus one song remixed byGAD.
Apostolina May,a charesmatic singer with intense and fragile voice, is the band's lead vocalist since 2005.
Ammos produce their own albums and find lots of fun experimenting and blending different styles of contemporary music ,to create a rather unique sound stigma,characterizing their work.
Last two albums,were mastered by the very Ted Jensen of Sterling sound N.Y.
G.Boussounis and G.Ginis also work as song writers and producers for the most respected,as well as best-selling artists in Greece. Alkistis Protopsalti, Dimitra Galani, Mihalis Xatzigiannis, Christos Dantes, Sakis Rouvas, Tania Tsanaklidou, Eleni Peta, Lena Alkaiou.just to name a few.
AMMOS is now preparing for their winter "Glykia Zoe" tour that includes almost 20 cities in Greece and Cyprus. .
