DESCRIPTION:
Alexander Peloquin, who passed away in 1997, is considered one of the most influential composers of Catholic church music in the second half of the 20th century.

This is one of my favorite pieces from him. It's called "A Prayer For Us." It is suitable for any Christian service giving thanks to God for the opportunities given to us by living in the United States. The language used in this piece of music is not necessarily rooted in Catholic teaching, but rather general teachings of all Christian faiths in this country.

Included in this piece are two narrative type prayers, and an amazing choral arrangement of America the Beautiful.
