DESCRIPTION:
This is my first Tubulum (a.k.a. "PVC pipe instrument"), a percussion instrument I created in November 2016 from scratch, including the CAD design and a mathematical algorithm for tuning. This one starts at "F" and spans two whole octaves (25 notes). It weighs about 80 lbs. Had I started from "C" and gone 25 notes, it would have weighed over 100 lbs due to the extra length of pipe needed!
