PURULENT (R.I.P 1995 - 2003)



PURULENT began in 95 with members of a death band called MORTEM ,looking for more different and extreme music to what the colombian scene was showing.The line -up leaded by David Rairan-guitar and backing vocals.Finishing this year two songs were recorded for the colombian compilation called LOOKING THROUGH THE WINDOWS of ICARUS RECORDS,this one was very accepted, so a national tour was started in 1996 in cities like:Armenia,Bucaramanga and Cali.

PURULENT had his first show in ROCK AL PARQUE this year.At the end of 1996, they started to record their first cd called PATOLOGIA GROTESCA,

Followed by other national tour with the north american band INCANTATION in Medellin,Bucaramanga,Pereira and Bogota.

After this, Daniel Paz joined the purulentic roads of the band, ex-member of SARCOMA.Finally the line-up was completed for the ROCK AL PARQUE IN 1998.

Afterwards, the band had a show in QUITO,ECUADOR IN 1999 with the locals bands ENTE,NECROFOBIA and CHANCRO DURO.

After this , During 2000 they had some shows in Pereira,Armenia,Cali and Bogota,In this year the band was invited to film rock special in the channel CITY TV MATCH MUSIC PROGRAM.



they recorder a promotrack to compilations like AMERICAN LINE PRODUCTIONS and EMETIC DESECRATIONS VOL 1.grind/death compilation 2000. The band in 2001 started to recorder the new cd called GARAVITOS PEDOPHILIA TALES,Now the new cd is available for MUTILATED RECORDS LABEL of Armenia cities. This cd will be distributed also for UNITED GUTURAL,ABLATED REC of OHIO,RELAPSE RECORDS ,REPULSE REC OF SPAIN and EUROPE and others labels of all world.

after that Sebastian Guarin and Beto complete the line-up.

The band had a gigs in Colombia working hard to promotion and distribution of their CD. 2002 the band prepare the new CD. with this line up
