If the City Had A Voice.



Purpose is now an MC/Producer from Adelaide who began making moves as a battle MC on the battle circuit from 2006 on. He was was recognized for his talents in freestyling and battling in particular when he took out the inaugural Double or Nothing MC Battle, the first Australian Scribble Jam MC Battle and the 2006 Revolver MC Battle aswell as taking the crown at many local events such as City of Verses 2 all in the same year. Soon after winning the inaugral Double or Nothing MC Battle and being recognized both nationally and internationally for his success in the Scribble Jam elements tour he was invited to become a part of the Double or Nothing roster and become the first artist to emerge from it. The album "Where It Starts" has yet to be released as it was put on the backburner to focus on group projects and hone his production skills.



During the past 3 years he has put out 4 street releases as both solo & group efforts beginning with, the Pagen Elypsis "Double-07 Mixtape" in 2007 mixed by the Battlehoggs, DJ Kansel + DJ Juice. His own solo mixtape "If the City Had A Voice" mixed by DJ Sum1 and DJ Next (Turntable Symphony) featuring Okwerdz (US), Motive & Prime (Pagen Elypsis) and JV of Iron Projects (Vic), and most notably the well received "Red October" in 2008, a full length album with Motive as Aforementioned featuring all original production.



From midway through 2009 Pagen Elypsis once again formed with the intention of releasing an official full length album. The recording process left them with nearly 30 songs and a selection of material that didn't make it on the album was utilized to hail in the new decade with the "2010" mixtape mixed by DJ Kansel & DJ Snair of the Battlehoggs as a national free download. The mixtape won praise in the underground but was merely a taste to prepare listeners for the album "One Way Ticket" slated to drop July 2010.
