A 22 year old residing in the southern part of the city of Adelaide, South Australia, Prime has made the quick transition from total unknown to one of the most eagerly watched and anticipated young and unsigned MCs in the Australian Hip Hop Scene.



Equally comfortable performing on stage during a live set, behind the mic in the vocal booth or gaining a reputation as one the fiercest freestyle battlers in the country, he exploded into the public consciousness in 2006 by winning a numerous battles and being nominated for an OzHipHop.com award for his Answer-produced banger "My Fault".



A member of Adelaide's Pagen Elypsis Crew, Prime continued to gather momentum during 2007 after a string of memorable live performances, both in Adelaide and interstate, and his impressive contribution to his crew's Double 07 Mixtape, mixed by none other than Australian mixtape kings, The Battlehogs. He also began to attract international exposure thanks to his performances in Jumpoff.tv's World Rap Championship battle competition (www.jumpoff.tv to see the videos) which saw him not only perform on a world stage but gain a legion of new followers and cement himself as one of the elite Battle MC's in today's game.



Despite being known to many as a battle rapper, Prime is also more than capable of delivering honest and meaningful music, a large percentage of tracks being based on personal history and life events rather than just arrogant bravado.



An as yet unnamed solo LP is nearing completion and is on course to be released in the last quarter of 2009.
