DESCRIPTION:
Jazz project is a large ensemble playing Jazz rooted music and improvisation.The group are one of the Exeter College enrichment groups and have recently delved into New York Funk, Cuban, West Coast Jazz, Tango, Punk Jazz, New Orleans Street Beat, Jazz, Folk, Contemporary Jazz plus student original compositions and arrangements. Compositions can include arrangements of standards as well as more contemporary material with significant improvised sections directed live on stage by the ensemble leader.
