DESCRIPTION:
The Pulse of Venus is a current project I am working on... training myself to write for strings. I have been encouraged...so this is actually my first time. This composition is part of a larger works that goes with my art song called Fallen. I thank my family and friends for encouraging me in composing. I've written songs since middle school but performed them professionally since 2009.

The themes in the song is about Venus the Goddess of Love and Romance; A: Venus stirring Love and Romance. B: Venus Opening and awakening people's hearts-creating a Pulse. C: Venus laughing and proud of the love and romance she has created.

My new art song goes with this piece. They were separate pieces but after I started listening to them I heard how they can easily be weaved into each other; that was not intentionally but they sound great together. The Pulse of Venus Rushes through my veins.
Like a warm spring melting the winter's thaw.
My heart races like a gust of wind.
Carrying all of me to delirium.
Awakens my senses from a lifelong rest.
Moved by love...My Season's spring within.
My Heart fallen for you-out of my head;
In the flesh...in the palm of your hand.
A sunflower adores only one sun;
Where ever you are...in a trance;
Lost in love's gaze.
