The style "Psychore" is the line Metal Hardcore from Psychobilly music, whose golden age was the decade of 1990. El estilo "Psychore" es la linea Hardcore o Metal del Psychobilly, y cuya época gloriosa fue la década de 1990. El origen de la palabra Psychore fue aportada en sus inicios por las bandas japonesas Guilty Skulls, Battle of Ninjamanz y SXTXH (Seven Steps to Hell) que utilizaron terminos como Psycho Core, Psycore, Psycho Grind Core, etc.. Pero seria el dibujante español Jose Antonio Hidalgo Jimenez el cual acuñaria el termino en 1997, en un articulo del primer numero de su fanzine dedicado a la musica japonesa "Cripple Satan Scream"(Mad Mongols Fan Club), para distinguir a las bandas que utilizaban tecnicas instrumentales e incluso vocales propias de los generos Hardcore y Heavy Metal.
