DESCRIPTION:
A young band that struck me a few years ago for the pleasant mix of Italian melodic rock, liquid atmospheres and the visionary Pink Floyd and a taste for the arrangement of all the progressive son. They are the Psicosuono from Milan, who are left with a renewed line (now a quartet) and a new project entitled "Aut Aut", edited by a manufacturer of luxury as Livio Magnini Bluvertigo.

The disc is definitely focused better than the previous promo: the band has had the opportunity to perform live often and changing the training has given greater substance to the songwriting, which today is more immediate and dry. Just listen to the fulminating opener "Sleep the night" to understand the framework of the work: a well thought out melodic rock, slide and made with panache to enhance the vocal talents of Elizabeth Giglioli. "Mysticism" is probably the highest moment and the song that best represents the band, the elegant fusion of art-rock and funk-fusion embroidery to the Doobie Brothers, the same as "Omega"; different approach - a balance between melodic intensity and research - "Your Destiny" and the title track. References to the atmosphere floydiane return to "Caplesta and slides."

The guitarist Stefano De Marchi is the centerpiece of the band: all the pieces of the author, provides a good overall balance. If for this reason "Aut aut" lp is a homogeneous and with a stylistic enough defined, it is also true that the main weakness is the lack of a strong personality that can distinguish Psicosuono from other bands of the Italian.
