Not one to let a perfectly good anniversary go to waste, I figured I'd commemorate the release on the "Hold Your Fire" album by releasing my own re-do of one of my favorite songs off the album. The album was released on this date in 1987.

I've re-covered this song a couple of times over the last few years with just about every bass I have and was never really satisfied with how it came out. It was one of those songs I'd throw on when I finished doing the videos I'd planned on doing and I'd just do a one off of it. I could never seem to get the balance right, either the bass was too loud or not loud enough. In this case it's a bit louder than I'd like it to be, but I've decided to quit beating the horse.

I saw them on this tour at the Brendan Byrne Arena in New Jersey with Tommy Shaw opening. I remember being really excited because Tommy Shaw had such a great mix and couldn't wait to hear how good Rush was going to sound. They wound up not having such a great mix that night.
