The Biography of PR

This is not a test… this is hunger at its purest form. From the same streets that birthed the hustle of today’s “CEO of Hip-Hop” you will find that the grind lives on in the mind, spirit and unyielding delivery of PR.



PR defines his generation… a generation that doesn’t want it now – they want it right now! But he goes at getting results on a more involving scale. For the past six years, PR has worked extremely hard at building his craft through pocket emptying studio sessions, performing in front of large and intimate crowds, and most importantly building up his business sense.



“I know where I am, who I am, what I want and how I’m going to get it,” says the seasoned entrepreneur. “When you talk about my generation, you’ll look at us as a long list of people who want it all, but don’t know what it means to execute. You can say that I’m in the upper percentile of that group. You won’t catch me making one move without purpose. I know what it means to be at the bottom, yet still fall a few notches. I’ve had my Kanye West moment; shit I lived that moment. I feel that it’s my duty to tell my story and have fun doing it.”



A live performance is just that when PR hits the stage. Two turntables and a MIC may suit a majority of today’s current rap regime, but like his counterparts from the City of Brotherly love, PR places his strain of lyrical ingenuity in front of a live band. “What more can be said?” PR continues, “I love the feel of bringing it live to the audience. I’m an MC in the form of being a ‘Master of Ceremonies’. Yes, that’s taking it back a bit, but even to this day the best artists are the best entertainers. I have my brand in tact.”



In 2007, PR has a few mix-tapes lined up including a spring release that’s hosted by DJ Vlad. He also has what he calls his truly official debut release dropping in the summer. “I have so much that I want to put behind me,” says PR as he reflects back. “I wasn’t in the right frame of mind on what should have been a solid debut that I recently released. I didn’t have the right team around me. The perspectives and the vision were totally to the left. Now that I have a team of professionals around me who reflect my hustle, it is finally that time for me to introduce myself. If ya’ll wanna’ know… I’m PR.
