System Recordings returns this week with a great artist debut on the label. Up and coming Argentinean producer Antrim first came to our attention with his releases on Crossfade Sounds and PolyTechnic recordings. Guillermo Cornejo aka Antrim hails from Cordoba and had a huge beginning of the year when Nick Warren selected his 'Blow Your Mind' production for his latest Renaissance compilation. Guille has continued his strong production ways with subsequent releases on Classound and Liquid Grooves. Antrim's debut for System Recordings is entitled 'Come To Me' and it includes two brand new original productions. Antrim is part of the new breed of Argentinean producers who have rebuilt the progressive scene with deep and meaningful productions.

His ' Come To Me' leads the release off with a swirling backdrop that's well complemented with haunting vocal pads and some meandering melodic themes. The vocal content soon gets expanded upon with some earthy styling's that provide a nice contrast to the more heavenly accents high above. The moody breakdown seems like the perfect centrepiece before the clever beats and intricate electronics drop back in and bring all the melodic and vocal ideas together for a worthy climax. 'Come To Me' has also been featured by Hernan Cattaneo on his Resident Delta FM radioshow so you know it's one not to be missed.

The companion piece 'My Secret' is a much funkier construction. The descending bass stabs meld together for a wicked foundation while a heavenly blend of harmonics cast a gorgeous sheen over the entire piece. It's these waning stabs that provide some amazing emotional vibes here and in combination with the heartfelt chord changes it just works perfectly. Amazing production from Antrim and our favourite of the two on the release. Highly Recommended.
