DESCRIPTION: St. Paul and the Broken Bones brought their distinct brand of Southern Soul music from Birmingham Alabama on tour and made a stop in Lexington, Kentucky at Willie's Locally Known. As you may be able to tell from his music, Paul was "brought up in the church" and was actually groomed from a young age to become a preacher. We're glad he's so far seemed to have chosen a "higher calling." Before their show, the guys met up with Shaker Steps at The Lexington Center attached to Rupp Arena. We actually got extremely lucky with this shoot. We set up towards the back of the Lexington Center and started playing and filming. Towards the end of the song a security guard came up to us and we thought for sure we were about to get kicked out, but instead the security guard offered to open up a private ballroom with an even better windowed view of downtown Lexington and great lighting.
