"This split 7" hums with two affairs of the heart, from the dusty pub rasp of "Sometimes on Sunday, Too," by The Great Crusades (side A), to the intimate coffee shop soundtrack of "I Wouldn't Say It's Over, But It's Gone," by Planeausters (side B). Pulling at the heartstrings of nostalgia using soft piano keys to chime in and out of warm guitar strums, side A tells the story of being in the throws of infatuation with parties on the weekend and unexpected meetings between lovers. "Truth be told, I thought you glowed," croons vocalist Brian Krumm with a gruff purr. Alas, the memories of that spark can only last so long and Planeausters are here to help with the coping. Side B, complete with a wandering guitar melody and a vocal coo, takes the easy way out on dismissing love by not saying "goodbye," but "to be continued." That spark may not be over, but for now, it's gone. "
